Visual thinking is greater than linear thinking – a new infographic

Visual is greater than linear

I created this new infographic to dramatize the difference between visual thinking and linear thinking. Most of us spend our days in the linear world, producing Word documents, PowerPoint decks and Excel spreadsheets. But to solve today’s complex business problems, we need to look at them from a much richer set of visual perspectives, using methods such as mind maps, diagrams and infographics.

David, the 3 types of visual thinking displayed here aren’t meant to be legible. I was simply trying to compare, at a high level, the stark differences between linear and visual documents.
